Account Manager – vCIO

The successful candidate will understand how to drive IT managed services and project solutions as well as hardware and product sales, while focusing on new and current client engagement and retention with regular interaction.

The successful Account Manager will be responsible for harnessing the power of CR-T’s service offering to deliver innovative solutions for the company’s managed service clients and working collaboratively across the organization to develop and maintain successful service delivery and client retention. The Account Manager must be a creative and strategic thinker, who has strong interpersonal skills, both oral and written. The Account Manager must be highly organized and able to thrive in a high volume, fast-paced and team-oriented environment and have a technical acumen for IT Services.



+ Manage a book of business for clients with average agreements exceeding $1,000/month. Own the overall relationship with named clients, and be responsible for total client experience for those assigned accounts and provide technical consulting

+ Work at a strategic level within CR-T, engaging Senior Management with the business units in order to develop methods and processes that will increase the quality of work the clients receive

+ Work at a high level within named accounts, developing and maintaining effective working relationships with client Manager/Directors; as well as any key partners or system integrators involved in their designated accounts

+  Overall supervision of development, implementation, optimization, and management of onboarding of new clients, working closely with the Project team in the process

+ Welcome the trusted advisor for clients on how to best leverage CR-T and when to introduce appropriate CR-T service and/or partner resources, including yearly IT budgets and planning meeting to document recommended projects and hardware

+ Knowledge in researching and preparing quotes for hardware and IT projects

+ Responsible for and reports and analysis on client performance, including but not limited to New Account Transition, Risk Identification, Escalation Resolution, Special Projects and satisfaction

+ Provide internal sales support, responsible for the identification of new business opportunities for CR-T within client’s company. Ensure that contract renewals are handled in a professional and timely fashion

+ Collect and maintain useful information regarding client implementation, technical environment and business proprieties and share internally as appropriate on behalf of the client. Facilitate strategic reviews to align business and technical goals with CR-T plans

+ Client Account Management: handling unexpected client concerns escalated by other departments or management. Account Manager will work with the client to help them understand the issue and action plans associated with resolution. Account Manager will also be accountable for ongoing follow up to ensure client satisfaction and retention

+ Proactive client analysis and reporting: monitor key risk indicators, scheduling time with clients and understanding their ongoing expectations is paramount to long-term satisfaction and retention

+ Throughout the client relationship, fully document on-site visits, meetings/actions, client interactions, and technical environment details. Also, provide regular reporting as agreed with the client and internal CR-T management

+ Make difficult decisions and provide good information to Management in escalated situations


Qualifications Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

+ Proven track record of consistent quota attainment

+ Have demonstrated sales skills, with high standards (never being satisfied with status quo)

+ Ability to work independently in a timely and effective manner to meet individual and team goals; high energy, self-starter • Strong decision-making abilities

Required Experience:

+ Bachelor’s degree or 3+ successful years in an analytical or technical role

+ Experience in dealing with C-Level decision makers

Sales Executive

We are looking for an experienced Sales Executive to drive sales and work with the technology team at CR-T to validate possible partners in the Salt Lake City market. Ultimately, you should be able to acquire new commercial business and achieve sales goals. Some of the products we work with are Barracuda, Cisco, DELL EMC, Microsoft, VMware, VEEAM, and others.


The Sales Executive is responsible for prospecting and generating new commercial business. CR-T offers multiple services and products that the Sales Executive will be responsible for, identifying opportunities across the entire product suite. These products may include office equipment (Workstations and printers), security (Firewall and subscription licenses), computer hardware & software, storage and cloud solutions, IT project services and IT managed services.

The ideal candidate should have a BS/BA and three years of experience or have at least five years’ experience in a similar role, in the technology industry. In particular; a professional experience of meeting sales goals, negotiating, motivating, relationship building, managing processes, and marketing. Familiar with Connectwise and Quosal Sell or prepared to learn and organize sales within these platforms.
